March 9th felt just like any other day. My husband and I got up and ready for our OB and sonogram appointment. We were about three weeks out from our due date and of course we were excited because I mean a little baby was on her way. We get to the doctors office and we go in for the sonogram first. The technician was calm cool and collected as she was checking in on the baby's weight double checking her sex and the size of her head. She never expressed any concern. As she finished up she sent my husband and I back to the waiting room and before we could even sit down the nurse calls us to the back. As the nurse takes my vitals she ask if Im in pain and if so give her a number from 1-10. I told her yes and I shouted out 9 because I had been having a lot of pelvic pain. The nurse says okay and leaves to go get the doctor she also walked out as calm cool and collected as well. A few seconds later the doctor walks in and she goes okay so who's ready to have a baby today. My husband and I were like wait what?

The doctor proceeded to tell my husband and I that while she and the technician was looking at the sonogram our baby head size was a little abnormal and that was weird because throughout the pregnancy her head has been measuring normal. She then told us that her nurse hurried and told her that I was in pain and that it was in my pelvic area. She told us that the baby head was measuring abnormal because it was stuck in my pelvic bone and my fluids were super low and that she would have to come ASAP. I was like WTF cause in no way was I ready or had planned on having a baby that day. She tried to make it seems as though it was nothing to panic about but you can't tell someone oh your baby head is stuck in your pelvic bone and your fluid levels are low so you need to have the baby today and expect not just a little bit of panic.

Fast forward I go home and get my pregnancy bag eat and take a shower and then my husband and I head to the hospital to check in at around 12:30 in the afternoon. I get checked in and they give me a COVID test of course and they begin to hook me and baby up to the monitors and what not.

In the beginning they were waiting to see if my water would break on its on so they had us wait for about 4 to 5 hours. On the last waited hour nothing happened so my doctor decided to come and bre

ak my water. She was very quick and very precise. After she broke my water it took no time for the contractions to get more intense and the baby ready to come. I would say I was in labor for about 3 hours and she was here by the fourth hour.

Although she it started as a panic she came so quick that we had forgotten about all of what happened earlier that day. Welcome to the world Ayah Nevaeh you have made the Keaton family complete.

Being that everything happened so fast and the doctor and nurse worked so fast and I had no epidural I didn't get to take pictures like I wanted because for one I was very exhausted. I never felt that type of exhaustion before EVER. I had her a cute little outfit me a cute little outfit but like I said it just didn't happen however I will make up for it later.

So recently I have been looking for ways to up my culinary skills because the usual meals were getting to be repetitive and boring. So one day while strolling the aisles of Trader Joe's (which is my favorite place to be) I decided to pick up some ingredients that would intensify my ramen. My girls love ramen and I wanted to see if I could do something different from them just throwing the pack in the microwave and dressing it with the seasoning.

I have seen many different ways on how to take ramen up a notch but in my opinion I beleive I have hit the nail on the head with this ramen recipe. It's quick simple and easy to prepare and anyone can recreate this delicious dish. I find that everytime I make this ramen dish I'm always adding something to it to make it even more tasteful. For this meal you will need.

Ingredients:

  • 1 32oz Trader Joe's Miso Ginger broth

  • Trader Joe's Crunchy Chili Onion (can add as much as you like depending on how spicy you like your ramen)

  • Trader Joe's Furikake Japanese Multi-Purpose Seasoning (again as much as you like for taste)

  • 4 packs of Nissin Top Ramen Beef or Chicken (to include the seasoning packets)

  • Beef or Chicken depending on what flavor you're preparing.

Optional Ingredients:

  • Mushrooms

  • Baby Corn

  • Seaweed

  • Carrots

  • Onions/garlic

  • Bean sprouts

  • Sriracha sauce

  • Boiled egg

  • Fish Cake

  • Bok Choy

  • Green scallions

Steps:

  • Pour Miso broth into medium/large pot and add your Ramen noodles(I always use three to four packs). Set your eye to medium high heat and wait for it to boil. While boiling add your noodle seasoning packets.

  • Add in the Crunchy Chili Onion and Japanese Multi-Purpose seasoning(as much as you need for taste).

  • If you should choose to use beef or chicken cook and add it to your pot. I like to get thin cut beef or cut my chicken into strips or cubes.

  • Adding other ingredients are optional. I prefer to cook my mushrooms, baby corn, carrots onions, garlic and of course my egg.

Tip: Sometimes the miso broth cooks down a little fast to prevent that I add about 4 oz of water.

This Ramen meal should take no more than 30 mins and I promise you you will not be disappointed. Please if you try this meal let me know in the comments how you liked it and give it a thumbs up.

Hello all! So, as you know from the previous post my family and I recently moved to Colorado from Texas, and I stated that I've been decorating our new home. Well, I come to you guys for a little help. I want to first start with the living room and the main bedroom.

Okay first let me tell you all what I'm looking to create. I want a luxury feel all throughout our home. I want to make it a place where we never want to leave. I'm a minimalist so I don't want it to be too much over the top in my older years I have come to understand that less is more. I also have come to terms with some things take time and you don't have to do it all at once however I feel as though I'm halfway there in both rooms and with you guys help, I know I will finish up and move on to the next two rooms. One can say this post will be an ongoing post with updates every time there is a change made in the decor.

Let's start with the living room for the most part I have over half of it done but I feel as though something is missing to wrap it all up. For the walls I want to paint them a clean and crisp white to keep the openness and pull the carpet of course and find the right wall art. This is where you guys come in, I'm stuck on what floor pattern and what kind of wall art. I don’t feel as though I need a couch because of how open it is to the kitchen. We also have a movie theater downstairs, so this is what I call the sitting area. I was thinking of maybe adding a record player and a in wall fireplace to give it that cozy feel. I want this room to have a very relax feel because this is where my husband and I come to meditate, read, and listen to music.

My husband pick the color for the our room and of course I agreed but I had to suggest the white

ceilings because he was at first trying to paint the whole room the blue color. I mean I like the color but not that much. As you can see, we are not done with painting. We decided we'll wrap up when we get the panels for the accent wall which will be behind the bed. I just want to know what you guys think as far as accents for the walls. I have some things on my Amazon home and decor list, but I would like to get you all’s opinion and maybe you guys have suggestions of different places to go for decorations. We're going to get another tree and put it in the opposite corner to balance out the other. What do you all think about putting a little table under the television so in that way we will have some where to put the game console and remotes. Donovan was thinking of putting a in wall fireplace, but I told him we would already have one in the living area, and I just think that would be too much. I don't know what do y'all think? Would it be too much?

As I stated earlier, I will keep you guys updated and any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Look out for this post to be updated sometime in the near future. Thank you in advance for any advice or suggestions.
